Most of our design services begin with an in-home consultation and last up to 2 hours. This allows us to understand your interior design needs and provide direction for your project through our flexible interior design services.

- Get to know you and your family.
- Review your goals, needs, challenges, and any specific requirements for the space.
- Discuss initial impressions and ideas, and provide suggestions for a design and style direction.
- Walk through tour of each room within your home to determine your style, how you live and confirm what functionality you may be missing.
- Recommendations for furniture layout.
- Discuss a preliminary budget.
- Discuss project timeline.
- Paint color selection (a handwritten list of up to 3 colors if desired).
- Window treatment ideas.
- Lighting ideas.
- Ideas for new furniture and furnishings.
- Styling tips.
- Ideas on how to mix patterns, styles, antiques and heirloom pieces.
- Explanation of the design process, how we work and what to expect.

Notes & Clarifications
Please note that no design work, materials or furniture selections or re-arranging of furnishings will happen during this meeting. It all happens verbally. We encourage you to take notes. The consultation is a great opportunity to get to know each other, and understand your needs better, as well as an opportunity to discuss initial ideas which we take time to develop later into a custom interior design plan, tailor-made for your specific needs.
